  • Religious Studies

Religious Education (or Religious Studies as it is called at GCSE and A-level) is a subject providing opportunities for pupils to think for themselves by studying and understanding aspects of a major world religion. Pupils are required to consider the link between what people think and the way they act. In being encouraged to think for themselves and evaluate what religious traditions say, pupils are acquiring skills which will stand them in good stead for adult life.
