For people who like a challenge and would like to take things to the next level.  There is an extract from Dietrich Bonhoeffer's Cost of Discipleship in which he talks about the means of salvation in Christian theology.

The Ghost of Father Raby is a sixteenth century story relating to the afterlife from the time when Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries via his minister, Thomas Cromwell.  One of Cromwell's servants related this spooky tale.  

'1746 NDE' is a Near Death Experience related in John Wesley's Journal.  It is about a girl who died one morning and was resuscitated.  She claimed to have had visions of the afterlife.
