5th Annual Art Exhibition

On Thursday 13th May, from 6pm until 8pm the Art department of Beverley High School will be open to the public in order to celebrate the inspirational work of this year’s Year 11 and Year 12 students.

The building in which the department is housed was designed by East Riding of Yorkshire Council architects and opened in 2008. The spaces can be transformed from all purpose art studios into gallery space. The work is displayed throughout the department, on walls and gallery display boards.

Guests will be invited to view the wonderful art and talk with the artists who produced it during their GCSE and AS level courses. Works vary from traditional paintings to highly ambitious mixed media pieces and the vast range of styles ensures something of interest for everyone.

Some of the work has been reproduced as prints that can be purchased on the evening in aid of the Friends of Beverley High and the Art Department.

The Friends of the School will also provide a selection of refreshments.
