Welcome to Beverley High School’s website.

We are an outstanding school (Ofsted, 2009) and focus on continuous improvement in all that we do. We have excellent facilities and these, alongside committed teachers and support staff, hardworking pupils, supportive parents and dedicated governors, help us to create a positive school ethos and deliver high quality education. Specialist Technology College and Leading Edge status as well as many other national awards confirm our wide-ranging success.

We have excellent relationships with our local community and with our neighbouring schools and colleges, as well as strong partnerships with schools as far afield as Japan, Sri Lanka and America.

We are proud to be a caring, forward and outward looking learning community where pupils learn within a safe, supportive and happy environment.

The school motto is Pietas. Pietas was one of the Roman virtues and is usually translated as "duty" or "devotion". In the Roman world it suggested duty to the 'gods' and duty to family which is expanded to duty to the community and duty to the state.
